My parents are divorced and I dont want to include one father and not the other. My stepdad came around when i was 5 and has tooken care of us. But my real dad really came around and helped us out alot when we got older. (my real dad wasnt around a whole lot when i was little so i asked my stepdad if i could call him dad.) I dont want any conflict during the wedding and they are a little upset that i am having them both walk me down the asile. And I have no clue as to what songs to dance to to each dad. I was wanting my stepdad to dance with me to half the dad he didnt have to be, and wanted my fh and my daughter to come out about 1/2 way through and dance because he took her in as his own. She actually thinks He is her real dad (she is 6) (her real dad ( spermdoner is what i call him) left me when i told him i was pregnant.) Anyways back on subject. i dont know what to dance to with my real father that would be a sentiment as my stepdads song and i dont want to hurt anyones feelings?

I love your idea, (holding back tears!) FH is going to dance with our DD to that same song, There are lot of good ones, I loved her first, I forget the name of who sings it. Do a search I'll see if I can find the threads with this topic.

Oh I know which song your talking about. that is a really pretty song. I will download it and try to listen to the words. I never really listened to the words. lol dont have time to listen to music much lol

I didn't have a dance with my father as he wasn't at my wedding BUT my uncle who is like a father did everything. He picked out the song Unforgettable(sp), it doesn't mention fatther-daughter stuff, but is a beautiful song!
