Re: father daughter dance
'Sunrise, Sunset' from Fiddler on the Roof. It's a beautiful song. Tell me if I am weird, but I also considered 'Wild World' by Cat Stevens. It sounds like a dad singing to his daughter to me. I actually still debate about it, but my dad and I had agreed on 'Sunrise, Sunset' and my dad was very happy with this.

Daughters by John Mayer with Brad Paisley is what DH danced to with my daughter-his new step daughter My father passed so we didn't have a father/daughter dance otherwise.

Re: father daughter dance
'Thats How Strong My Love Is' by Otis Redding... My dad and I both love classic rock/ music... This song is not really classic rock but Otis Redding is great... so its the best slow dance that I could find for us.

I have no idea what I'm going to use. I think I'm actually going to leave that decision up to my father.
ditto!
Same for me...I just don't know. I don't really like public displays of emotion, so this is going to be pretty hard for me.
It could be dangerous for me to let him pick though...for my sister's sweet 16 they did a choreographed routine to Jamiroquai's Virtual Insanity...and he is the type to want to not do anything serious either
