I am really having a hard time picking a song to dance with my dad. I know I do not want country. I have looked at the suggestions on this site but nothing is hitting me. I would love to know what some of you are using. TIA

We're dancing to an Italian song called Lauretta Mia...
If I could choose an English song, it would be 'I Loved Her First'.. It's so beautiful for a father/daughter dance. I'm not sure who sings it though

I didnt use a common father/daughter song. I used 'Glory of Love' by Peter Cetera because we used to sing it together when I was little. Plus I love what the chorus says:
I am the man who will fight for your honor Ill be the hero youre dreaming of We'll live forever knowing together that we did it all for the glory of love
Definitely not the traditional song but it meant a lot to me

I think this song is such a great idea. Love the way it comes together. We already chose ours, but I would have considered it otherwise.
