What is a not so sappy father-daughter dance song? Me and my dad are not super close and can't relate to a sappy song. Any suggestions?

i used Kenny Rogers Through the Years, since DH & his mom danced at the same time...and my Dad & I are not sappy either

What about Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder...so that it's more about you than your relationship. Or How Sweet It Is by James Taylor...more upbeat, even though the words are a little on the sappy side.

we're dancing to a song no one has heard of called 'love and happiness' by emmylou harris and mark knopfler. it's not sappy at all, at least i don't think so.

Me too. we're not really close (well not 'mushy close'...thought this was was nice w/o being 'Daddy's little girl', you know?

my wish by rascal flatts is VERY sappy i thought!! everytime i listned to it i cried :) but i LOVE that song. we are doing Father & Daughter by Paul Simon. a bit more upbeat...
