I am having the hardest time picking a song for me and my dad to dance to at the wedding. This is what Ive come up with so far:
because you loved me- Celine Dion
Dance with my father- Luther Vandross
I hope you dance- Leann Womack
There youll be- Faith Hill
I turn to you- Christina Aguilera

What do you ladies think? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreicated!! TIA!!

Dance with my Father and There You'll be are kind of... sad songs because the people that are the subject of the songs have passed on. Just a thought.

We've been REALLY cognizant of what the song lyrics are conveying (aka-- we've found a lot of songs to be kind of creepy!), so if you're aware of that or care about it, keep that in mind. If you just love the chorus, then they're both great.

I totally agree with this! When you stop and listen to the lyrics of a lot of father-daughter songs (not just chorus) they are kind of creepy!
