Hi! So i'm starting to freak out a little, we don't have a father daughter song! My dad wanted to take dance lessons, so we have been learning a simple slow waltz and i thought we could use 'I loved her first' by heartland but its a fast waltz and there's not enough time to adjust our dance ( i'm not really a dancer so just the slow waltz is all i can do) So we need song suggestion that have the tempo of a slow waltz but appropriate for father daughter! We have been practicing to 'You light up my life' by Johnny Mathis. My dad thinks the song is too outdated so if any one knows of songs that are similar pleaseeee help cause i'm at a lose! I've scoured the internet for over a week now.
My dad says 29-31 bpm, not sure how to look that up

I don't know how they will work for you, but 'My Wish' by Rascal Flatts is a beautiful song.
try googling Father Daughter songs and then play the video to hear the music and see if it will work for you, that may be your best bet. Good luck!

Dad and I danced to My Wish at my wedding last month it was the perfect speed for him as he is overweight with bad hips and hates to dance....but he did for me and long enough that we could enjoy it and have picks taken too. Then he danced me over to my husband and we finished out the song.
