Does anyone have any suggestions for a good Father/Daughter Dance Song? I just can't seem to find any I like!

Re: Father/Daughter dance
'Isn't she lovely' by Stevie Wonder is a great one. My best friend used it at her wedding a few years ago and I thought it was very cute.
Or ....
'In my life' by the beatles 'Just the way you are' by billy joel
These are the ones I am kicking around in my head ... my mom is supposed to talk to him about it and give him the ideas and let him choose, so he doesn't know I picked it. :)

I picked Landslide. I don't know if it's a particularly good choice or not.

I'm using 'You are the Love of My Life' by Carly Simon... it was written to her children...

Another friend of mine used 'Landslide' -- I think it's a great choice since Stevie Nicks wrote it about her father and about growing up, and you don't often get the bride's perspective during this dance, I think it's usually the father's. My friend recorded herself singing the song and then played it while they danced to it .. after she had thanked him for everything ... I cried like a baby.

I'm using the probably too popular 'I loved Her First' by Heartland.
I have freckles. That line in the song kills me and my dad, so we're using that song.

'My Little Girl' by Tim McGraw is another good one.

Actually, scratch that - there is a line in there about when his little girl falls in love and how the guy won't be good enough. Not something ANYONE will want to hear on your wedding day!!

Thank god! I was a little afraid it was about death.
There's always Unforgettable.

I love this song, too.
And this is going to sound REALLY dumb, but there is a line at the end of the song that bugs me. It says 'but between you and me, he'll never be good enough.'
I GET what it means and know it's not supposed to be obnoxious, but that was the deciding factor for me bewtween that and I Loved Her First.
Holy overanalyzing, batman!

Re: Father/Daughter dance
Aww!
I'm getting teary eyed just thinking about it! I'm having a dance with my stepfather... and he's always been there for me. I'm soo not going to make it for the dance.
I don't have a song yet... whenever I start looking I start crying.
