I am using the Irish song Daughter Of Mine... A couple of years ago I went to an Irish Christmas Show/Party with my family and FH. The singer sang this song and the words are so powerful that I knew then I would use it as my song with my father and when I looked at my father it looked as though he was tearing ( I could be wrong though, lol). I bought the cd without my father knowing and held onto it. He has no idea I have this cd/song and I am going to surprise him that night. I love it.......
This one is beautiful and I almsot did it, but it's been done at a lot at irish weddings, including all my cousins' weddings, etc.
I chose, 'Gown of White' another popular Irish one. Loved it too

my dad and I danced to Can You Feel the Love Tonight by Elton John
DH and his mom danced to The Perfect Fan, by the Backstreet Boys, haha, but it was a really sweet song
