Does anyone know of any songs from the 50s that would be appropriate for a father/daughter dance? My dad loves the oldies doo-wop music so I was hoping to find a good song from that genre to use for our dance but I'm having trouble. TIA!

My father and I are dancing to Unforgettable by Nat King Cole. It's not really doo wop but it is from the 50s.

I didn't even think of that song. Good choice! Love it! Happy song! I want something fun beat that is not going to make me an emotional mess.

I was thinking of My Girl, but I was hoping to find a song that had more of a doo-wop feel. What do you girls think of 'Only You' by The Platters (I know its more of a love song but the lyrics might work for both)?

Nevermind....just listened to 'Only You' again and it doesnt seem appropriate.
