I picked My Wish by Rascal Flatts. I'm not super close to my father and was never a daddy's girl so I really didn't want anything mushy or anything that had the words daddy's girl, angel, pure...etc etc.
Today I was wondering if I should change it to Let It Be by the Beatles..not a typical father daughter song but it's still nice.

I'm using Daddy's Little Girl by Michael Bolton (so much better then the original and my dad requested the original but like this so much better)
Question: Are your mom's jealous of you dancing with your dad and not giving them any honor or glory?

not at all. i have two brothers and my mom got to dance with them at their weddings. you can have your mom help during the ceremony with the unity candle/sand ceremony to make her feel special.

Picking this song has been so hard. I don't want anything too mush because I don't want to cry!! I think we are going to use Have I told You Lately, maybe by Rod Stewart.

I'm using daddy's little girl...not sure what version yet, only because I am the only girl and the baby(have three older brothers) so I never thought to use anything else, and oh yes, I am def going to cry lol

My mom is super upset- probably more so since my parents are divorced- however this is tradition, what I want and my dad is my b.f.f.4.l so she should respect that !!!! 18 more days of this BS!!!!

we're doing a parent dance together (im dancing with my dad, my FH is dancing with his mom) to the same song cause we both did not want to be the center of attention lol. we chose 'Days Like This' by Van Morrison.

My dad wants the theme from 'A Summer Place'. Not thrilled because I think it sounds like the music you hear when you call somewhere and you get put on hold.
