Father/Daughter Dance Dilemna...may be solved...
I am alot closer to my mother than my father. (my parents have been divorced since i am about 8)..I love my father but our relationship isn't so 'lovey dovey' I will be dancing with him at the wedding but also feel horrible leaving my mother out since she has been by my side helping me with my children since day 1 and doesn't have much but would give me her last penny if she had to.
I was thinking of starting out the dance with my father (which will probably be Celine Dions - Because you loved me) and after the 1st stanza and chorus. having the DJ announce for my mother to come up and dance with me.. and finish the song off with my mother.. my dad would agree to this as he knows how close i am to my mother...I want it to be a surprise for my mom.
Any opinions on this?
