I need some SERIOUS help with finding a song for the dance with my dad...
Back story= 4 years ago I got into a SERIOUS car accident, and needed emergency open heart surgery, and actually almost died. And like 2 weeks later my dad had a serious heart attack. He and I were in cardiac rehab together anda everything, it was nuts. If go too sappy, honestly, it will be too much for me or my sisters to handle...not in that emotional because of your dad way, but in that 'wow, there was a VERY real chance that I wasn't going to make it...' kind of way.
I have been trying to find a song that is more along the 'we made it through' lines, but I am REALLY struggling.
please help...this is SO important to me because I am the last of me and my 3 sisters to get married, so I want it to be good!!!

Wow what an amazing story. I'm so glad you guys got through that together!
The songs I came up with are: Lean On Me, My Wish by Rascall Flatts and There You'll Be by Faith Hill. HTH

Thats EXACTLY the type of song I don't want!!! WAAAAAAY too emotional..plus, my sister already used it!
this is the song i'm using...i love love it! the only thing is the first verse...i'm concerned ppl with think it's weird before they realize its about a father and daughter...
