For ease of ordering (and so there can be less chance of error), everyone is wearing the same thing except FH's tie will be a different color.

Not at all.
I had the fathers' in similar patterned vests- but in black with a bow tie instead of a long tie. Everyone coordinated but you were able to distinguish who was who!
