Good question - I don't know. I'm sure they cover a bit of each. I really want to learn the suede but I think I'd be in over my head on that one.

I am going with my mom - we need to have some sort of training before we attack my kitchen.

I also figure this way if it comes out really bad its partly her fault too

You can do the suede.. there is no technique.. you just paint.. =)

Re: Faux Painting

That is what I thought. I love it.

However, just want to learn the rest of them to keep my options open. My kitchen is so 1980's and until we get the money to redo it in a few years I'm stuck with the paint fix to help update it. It really needs a texture and I'm not sure which will be best.

Mom and I need training beforehand for sure. You see, mom tried to faux a wall in the house and it came out so bad that my dad had to wallpaper over it

I am very thankful for Home Depot's clinic - helping the faux challenged become better painters

Lori, calling it 'clinic' REALLY Makes it sound like you must be challenged to attend

We happened to be there when they did one on faux. It was pretty good (at Commack also!). Be prepared you sit on turned-over boxes or buckets

The guy that demos is really good. Makes it look so easy It really isnt that hard, you'll do fine

I saw them give the class at the Home Depot in Farmingdale. I luv the way the faux painting looks.
