Fav hotel in Vegas

For those of you who have stayed in Vegas, what casino/hotel was your favorite??

FH and I are planning on visiting and are having a difficult time deciding on where to stay.

What time of the year did you go and how was the weather.... We are thinking of visiting in Sept and Im wondering if its going to be too hot.

My DH and I went on our honeymoon in Vegas at the end of September. We stayed at Paris. AMAZING!!! We booked a room with a view of the Bellagio Fountain. We could see the whole water show from the room!!!

If we go back, we will probably stay at Paris again, but Bellagio and Venetian are right on par with Paris. So any of those 3 are fantastic.

Dh and I have been there 2X.

We love Caesars. The rooms are gorgeous and they have great shopping and restaurants.

Try to get a couples massage. We had it done at the Venetian. It was very relaxing!!!

We stood at the Luxor. But I would like to stay (in no order):

1) Wynn
2) Bellagio
3) Venetian

I stayed at the Mirage in March (I remember the weather as being really hot) one year...nice hotel but OLDER crowd. Would not stay there again.

I stayed in Treasure Island (aka TI - don't know why they are trying to change it, guess they are trying to make it more hip) in September (weather was perfect) and that was much better. I would recommend. We actually tried booking Paris, but they had no vacancies for several nights that we were there. Went there a few times at night, great place.

Next time I would definitely book Wynn, but since it is new it is a lot more expensive than the other hotels.

For hotels like The Palm and stuff just remember, they may sounds great, but they aren't on the strip, so it is a pain in the butt for night life, JMO, but I recommend staying on the strip, especially if it is your first time.

(Wow this was really long winded ---sorry!!)

I love the Bellagio. My fav hotel on the strip.
I don't think anything compares. I think the wynn is overrated. JMO

If you stay at the Paris, there is an AMAZING French Bistro Steakhouse in there (forgot the name). We go EVERY time we're there, it's the YUMMIEST!!!!

We usually stay at the Excalibur (friend gets good deals there). It's nice, fun and we've had the most luck gambling there. IMO, the dealers are VERY friendly.

the hard rock has the best pool! we just got drunk by the pool each day. music, and partying!
At night the bar is pretty cool too. There is a club downstairs.

its off the strip though.

we just went in january for a friends wedding. the wedding was at the ventian, but we stayed at the MGM in the 'west wing'.... it was really nice! ultra modern. the beds in the west wing rooms are really comfy- pillow top mattress and down comforters... and the bathroom mirror has a small TV built into it- also very cool while you're drying your hair
its sort of at the end of the strip... but an easy walk to all of the other casinos... and has a great buffet in it

We stayed in the West WIng also once and we loved it!!!! I would stay there again in a heartbeat!!! I like that the MGM has the overpass attached to it
