favor addition idea
as our favors, we are giving out small photo albums that my aunt will be putting dried flowers from her garden on (I'll post one when we get it done) i was thinking of doing this in addition:
a girl i work with for many years was diagnosed a year and a half ago with PKD (polycystic Kidney Disease). They have a charity organization that does have a long island chapter where they have events and raise money. They have a walk every September (this year the 17th at holtsville park) and i of course donate.
But in addition i was thinking of making a small donation on behalf of each guest towards her organization. I can really afford to just do $1 for each person...so thats $200 i would be giving them....i wasnt going to tell her..and surprise her when she comes to the wedding and sees the donation cards......do you think this is a good idea???
