I was reading the thread on putting the favors on the table... so i had an idea and wanted some opinions..
I am so for putting the favor on the table- but depending on what the favor is.. i was thinking of stacking them up on one end and individually personalizing them with favor tags including the guests name.. the majority of my quests are couples.. so i can do a mr & mrs type thing..
Is it worth the work? .. this would be a diy kinda project.. Has anyone tried this b4? thanks

Re: Favor Advice
In my opinion I would only personalize it if it were going be placecards as well as favors...if your not using them as place cards then I think its just a waiste of time...

I agree, it would take up your precious time and theirs at your wedding to find their own!

I think that is a nice idea for say, an engagment party but too much for you to do for the wedding..I mean I am not knocking it at all I am just thinking how I would feel

Re: Favor Advice
i personalized all our favors - it was a lot of work as we had different ones for ladies and the guys - I think it was all worth it though because we didn't want people to take more than 1 as we went with crystal brooches and pottery barn money clips and they really added up - worked out perfectly because we used them as the placecards too -- i may have pics in my album
I would only do this if it were a combination favor and place card. Otherwise it's a really nice touch but it would take so long to do....and you will be so busy with everything else you have to do to prepare for your wedding

I think that it is too confusing plus If someone just shows up they might not get a personalized one also.

I think it's a cute personal touch. And if you are up for it then go for it! Also, it would help to make sure that each person went home with their favor.

if someone just shows up without RSVP ing then that's their own fault and it's the price they pay for being rude!
although i am guilty of not always RSVP ing... but going through all this I learned my lesson!
