Re: Favor advice please!
Personally, I would love to get a cheese grater. I'm not a fan of edible favors. You eat them and then they're gone forever. Most of the time guests will eat them the night of your wedding and then that's it, there's nothing left to show for it. I love when I get practical things at a wedding, like a wine stopper, frame, cd, vase, beer mug, cheese grater (very unique). I've been to a lot of weddings and my favorite favors are those that I can actually use, not only because they're practical, but because I'm reminded of the bride and groom every time I use it. I just think we all spend so much money on our weddings and I think it's such a shame to spend more money on edible favors that people gobble up in a matter of seconds. Although, no one ever complained about getting delicious chocolates so it really depends on what you think your guests will love. Good Luck!!

I agree.... I want to do a wine stopper for my favor... FI and I love to go to the northfork vineyards, have a wine cooler in our kitchen, etc. I think it represents us more than just a few chocolates. The heart topped wine stopper also matches our invitations!!
But a lot of my friends at work love getting chocolate, or edible favors.
As for boxes, I have been looking too. I need a pretty big one to hold a 6inch stopper. But I did find a bunch of smaller boxes online or at Michaels craft stores. I guess you could even do those silk draw string bags that come in a great variety of colors. That might be really cute!!

Look online for boxes. I can't think of any now but sooo many sites have adorable favor boxes!! Carlson Craft has a few too I think...Godiva is great but for the cost you could give large cheese graters!! Lindt's choc is great and you can give more for the same price. I think I like them a little bit better too...

Re: Favor advice please!
Both Lindt and Godiva have favors already in boxes. No need to buy them seperate. They put on a ribbon with your names and date. Lindt was 4.00 if I am correct and I believe godiva was 4.50 and 5.00. I actually did candles. You should take a look at yankee candles. they do the same thing with a candle and your name etc..
