Ok....so a long time ago i bought wine stoppers from ebay (silver heart) for our favors. Now i am being told by mom and sis that this is not enough to give to people..too cheap. SO my mom is all about getting bottles of wine for each couple. Not the MINI, but a regular bottle. thinks the mini is not enough. To save my sanity and money, I wanted to get wine charms to go along w/the stopper and put them together in a bag or tie them together. BUT i dont want it to look like a goodie bag.
Does anyone know how much a case of like pinot grigio is? Cant be less than $7 a bottle right? Maybe even if it was $5, plus $2 for the stopper. If that is the case then $7 a favor is ALOT no?
The charms would be only another $2 or $3.
Any advice is greatly appreciated! I cannot believe i am dealing with this at this stage in the game.
THANKS!!!!!!

Re: Favor advice!! Wine Bottles or Charms.
We just went to a wedding where wine was the favor, one bottle per couple. So since it's per couple, it's not so bad.
I think people spend anywhere from $2 to $10 on favors.

I think the wine stopper alone is a very nice favor!! It's just supposed to be a token of appreciation and I wouldn't think 'cheap' at all!!!

I got a wine stopper for a favor at my friend's wedding. I don't think it is a cheap favor.

Re: Favor advice!! Wine Bottles or Charms.
We did a bottle stopper and 2 wine charms per couple. We thought the wine charms were a nice idea in addiiton to the bottle stopper and eventhough we would have liked to give out the entire set of charmsand the stopper we just couldn't afford to do that. there are a lot of different options if you want to add something else. I think I have a thread saved on wine favors...let me see!

Re: Favor advice!! Wine Bottles or Charms.
If you are going to do the wine bottles, you definitely only need 1 per couple. I pay $5 per bottle each forPindar wines at Lake Liquors in Ronkonkoma- and I am sur ethey have a discount for multiple cases. Good luck with mom!
