My family is Jamaican and i'm going with the tradition of giving out slices of rum cake as one of my favors (I don't want that to be the only favor though, a lot of people aren't fans of rum cake, lol!) Can any of you recommend somewhere to get pretty (and affordable!) favor boxes? TIA!

sistren! You know i have the same dilemma. I decided on half pint sized chinese take out containers from papermart.com. I got approx a 100 for $35 and they are the perfect size for a small piece of rum cake. I will try to take a pic of how i'm going to decorate it and post in a little for you.

here is how i decorated mine. May nix the brown ribbon in the end but think i'm keeping the sage raffia.
i noticed these when i was looking for favor boxes....cake slice boxes hope this helps!

that's the perfect box...i'm looking for the same as well, but $4 for 5 boxes seems pretty heavy in price. I saw similar boxes on ebya for great prices as well
