Favor donations & menus

for those of you who have done both favor donations and menus, how did you set up your tables?

I wanted to put little envelopes (RSVP size) on the plates with a thank you and information regarding our donation (and tribute to FH's dad) what would I do with the menu then, I was thinking stand it up against a glass?

Am I better off putting two picture frames or table tents on each table with info about the donation and menus on the plates?

Any advice would help..TIA
