I was having this discussion with my mother today...
For favors, is it 1 per person or 1 per couple??? I am thinking of doing mini wine bottles. My mom said that if a couple then they take 1. Is that the case or do you need 1 wine bottle for each guest???

Re: favor HELP
I am doing maple syrup and I am doing one per couple or one per household for the cousins....it just gets too pricey to do one per person

Re: favor HELP
We're doing foldable reusable grocery bags and I have enough for one for each person. But I had a minimum order of 200 so I had to purchase that many (we only have 110 coming to the wedding... I'm using them for our OOT bags too!).
You should do what's economically feasible to you. Usually when I've received favors in the past, it's one per couple.

Re: favor HELP
We are doing champagne splits, one per couple. But we are also doing a candy buffet that's part of the favor.

Re: favor HELP
We are doing mini wine bottles 1 per person since each mini bottle is probably equal to one glass of wine and they are really cheap!

Re: favor HELP
I'm doing bottles of champagne and we will be giving one per person, they will be placed at each place setting (the'll be wrapped elegantly so that the tables don't look crappy) so that everyone realizes that it's one for each person.

Re: favor HELP
I think it depends on the favor? Donna is giving cookie cutters/recipe cards, with their names/Wedding date, and is allowing one per guest. Mary MOB

Re: favor HELP
A liquor store out east - on 112 and 25. Kinda far from me but a friend recommended I go there. I think if you ask any liquor store they might have them. The wine is from Sutter Home and the proce includes custom labels. I think they were a good deal!

Re: favor HELP
I got full wine bottles (from Pindar, about $5 per bottle after my wine club discount!) and got 8 cases, so 96 bottles... I did my invite count yesterday and came to only 57 invites!!! I do have some kids coming and my total count is going to be somewhere around 100, so if it works out I will do 1 per adult. If not, I'll do 1 per couple and have a lot of wine left over for the OOT bags and attendants, at least I know they'll appreciate it :)

Re: favor HELP
Im doing a personalized CD and we are doing 1 per couple/family. My cuz did the samething and did 1 per person and some people had 3-4 CDs in one home. So IMO its a waste of money that way.
