So, I want to do a favor that would only be one favor per couple, not one per guest. I'm thinking I'll have them in a basket near the front door with the guest book. I want to put a sign up that indicates that each person is not supposed to receive a favor, but I'm not sure how to word it. I was thinking... 'Please take one favor to share with your guest.' I feel like everything I come up with sounds tacky or demanding...any suggestions? Thanks so much!

Re: Favor Help
It depends what you are thinking but here's a thought (or two) have the favor double as the place card. This way you are sure there won't be a misunderstanding on how many per person/couple. Or have them on each table.

Sorry...I should've mentioned that we're not having seating assignments so no place cards...otherwise, that woud've been such a great idea. Thanks for the suggestion! We're having a cocktail reception, so there aren't any seating assignments...that is why I'm having so much trouble with this!!!

Re: Favor Help
Hmmmm maybe you could assign someone to give them out as guests are leaving? Or if that is too much put the sign up (which is a cute idea!) and have faith that people are only going to take the one.

Re: Favor Help
Even though you are not having seating arrangments can you maybe put a favor tag on each that say 'Mr & Mrs x' or just 'Ms...x' ?

Ohhhhh...that is a good idea! You could make them yourself and have the RH just set them up on the table where the guest book is.
