Favor Help!!!!!!!!!!!

Fh and I have been debating about this for a while. Since we are having a viennese hour (making our wedding a 6 and a half hour event), FH is saying how our guests aren't going to be eating the desserts at the end of the night. His argument is that first you have cocktail hour, then dinner. Our RH gives the option to have seconds and thirds from the menu. Then the cake cutting. He says everyone's going to be so full of food & alcohol, desserts going to be the last thing on their minds. He suggests we get mini gable boxes as favors, and at the end of the night our guests can choose which desserts to take home with them since we're paying for all of it.


I don't know how I feel about this. I feel it may be a little cheap as far as favors go, but I know if I was a guest, I'd want a little sugar in the morning to get me going!

What is everyone's opinions? Have you seen this done at other weddings? I've never heard about it, but FH says he's been to a few weddings that have offered it.

Were planning on doing this too and are getting the pastry boxes w/ either the clear window in them or get something printed on the top of the box. Was also thinking of making circle labels w/ our monogram on them to seal the boxes.

i think that's totally fine.

a lot of people don't even do favors anymore.

my cousin did this at his wedding, but the boxes were prefilled with krispy creme donuts and then guests could put something additional into it if they wanted to.

We were thinking of doing this...
I so wated the FULL Dessert table BUT we gonna have lots of fun in the wedding that I think we may just do liek Cookies or something else.....


Yeah, just decorate the box to le them know.

I think this is a great idea. many people don't even do favors anymore and this way they can take a little piece of the wedding home with them for the next day.

I always wondered, does the RH mind if we do this? Like I know in the CH you can't take things and pack them up, they pack it for us after right?
