I just came up with a simple idea that wont take much time...since I dont have much. Since engagement party is in the Fall and wedding is in the Fall...I am trying to stick with everything Fall related. I just thought thay maybe I could buy a ton of small pumpkins and tie a little tag around the stem that says...Fa;; in Love...We did...and then our names and date. Is this lame? FH didnt love the pumpkin idea. But I figured that since everyone throws the favors out anyway (most of the time) - unless it's food -- that I could give them something seasonal that they can throw out b/c it's meant to be thrown out after some time.

i actually like the idea. i would actually add a leaf to the stem though and tie the tag around that or something to that effect. It looks more homemade too!

LOL. I feel the same way...but I kind of didnt care...just thought it went with the theme.
What's your opinion on the pumpkin? That's the important part?

I like it as well. Going off Alyssa's idea...what about writing the saying on the leaf and attaching it to the stem

what about a candle...with like a wintery scent.. like cinamon or something....with gourmet cookies form a bakery shaped as a pumpkin or fall leaves?
my mom went to a baby shower last weekend and they did the gourmet cookie and a small candle and just put it in a tiny gift bag.. cookie was off the hoooook lmao

I think its cute...then they can use it to decorate and then toss it. ppl dont want another favor cluttering up their house.
everyone has 100 candles and glass dishes and picture frames...

i like the edible favor idea. The pumpkin thing sounds cute but not much i'd do with it. For my e-party i did cupcakes and bottle of wine. Everyone loved the cupcakes, the bakery i used even has pumpkin pie cupcakes and obviously decorated with the whole theme. I like the cookies idea too

yea id rather get somethign from a bakery... i dont know bout getting a box and throwing in hershey kisses...its an E-party..not a childrens bday party lol

I think thats a really cute idea! You can also use pumpkins for table numbers or place settings. I also think for a fall wedding you can do something like candy corn or candy apples....I ♥ candy corn. Or maybe pumpkin scented candles- the smell reminds me of fall!! I really like the 'fall in love' though- its very cute!!
I'm getting jealous now!! I want a fall wedding!

when is your e-party? the pumkin can still be used after the party for decoration for a while. is it in october? maybe tie a lil bag of candy corns to it? a tag that says 'love is sweet' ??
