Favor Idea--what do you think

Favors have been a tough area for us but we came up with this idea & just wanted to see what everyone thought.
TIA

The favor would be a white coffee mug & inside the mug we are going to put a bag of coffee w/ our names & date on it. A heart shaped coffee scoop, biscotti & most likely tea bags. They would then be put in a box & wrapped with ribbon etc.

I don't really like favors with only 1 cup, or one mug, or 1 glass. They probably won't be used.

My cousin gave out 1 demi cup with 1 saucer as her wedding favor and one of her aunts ran aroung taking more to 'make a set'

Ever since then, I haven't loved the idea of 1 glass or 1 mug

eta: I do LOVE the coffee, tea, and heart scoop combo, though!

i like that idea. its not just a mug and it fits everyone. coffe or tea! its different!!!

great idea....especially if you two are coffee drinkers and everyone knows it. I like favors that say something about the couple. We love wine, most people know that so we are probably going to do the wine toppers.

Ohhh I kind of agree on that.
Well if you can find the mugs really cheap you can do 2 of them. One of them you do the coffee and the scoop and the other the tea and cookie!!!!

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVE This idea. I wanted to do the mug with coffee and scoop, but it is more $ than I wanted to spend and I truly wanted to make a donation in my dad's name.

But I LOVE this idea. Its so great!!!!!

i like the idea if you are printing the labels for the coffee yourself i saw in a favor magazine they had packets of coffee and above the names it said ' a perfect blend' ...i thought it was cute!!!

I like the idea, but I think it would be more suited as a shower favor.

I love it, and I think mugs are different than wine glasses, or tea cups, or some other items that people would want more than one of. Many people have different random mugs and you don't need two to use them - the mug is less formal than the tea cup, which is not something you pull out of the cupboard every day. Plus, you get them from work, or from students, or from your children for Mother's day - I would think even people with mug sets could appreciate a lone mug, so I think it's a great idea! Good luck!
