Favor ideas?

Favor ideas?

What do you guys think about favors that have to do with something FH likes and something that goes with my nickname? We don't have a theme for the wedding, but if we did, it would be around bees, beehive, honey....because my favorite poem is by Antonio Machado and the line in it that I love is...'Last night as I was sleeping, I dreamt...marvelous error...that I had a beehive here inside my heart. And the golden bees were making white combs and sweet honey from my old failures.'

My FH and I are kind of like throwbacks. I'm 35 and he's 42. We have never married and no kids. Just waited and waited and waited to find each other, I guess.

He's addicted to lobster so I was thinking of doing that thing you use to crack open lobsters and then doing honey from out east on LI. What do you think?

Or is that too silly/corny?

i think those two are great! but you might want to do something that goes with each other. lobster and honey don't mix

unless you attach a lil story why you chose those 2 things. that would be really cute

You could make them have a theme. You're his lobster and he is your honey. Write up a little saying and put one at everyother setting. Great idea and they are both useful!

How about you give a honey dipper with the honey. That would fit together better than a lobster cracker.
Unless people really know both of you, they won't be able to make that connection.

Honeybee/sweet theme is original. You can have fun with that one. Incorporate the poem in your planning.
Or you can go the lobster route and work around that - sort of NE clambake. Mini galvanized pails with checkerboard napkins, the lobster crackers and a lobster pick.

I'm in the same situation as you, I'm 40 andFH is 45. Both of us never married, no kids. Time waited for us.

Perfect! I second MeNBobs suggestion.
