favor ideas

so the girl that did my shower cake did a fab job SO what do you think about this as a favor idea

i would do a gourmet cupcake (all fancy) in a box for every single person and attached to the pretty box i would do a donation on behalf of everyone to the american cancer society (grandpa died of cancer) for cancer research. like clearly i would have the scroll say something beautiful...and then they get a yummy cupcake.

OR maybe if i can, a bottle of wine just with our labels on it.

i like the cupcake idea but im not sure if that looks cheap. its really not.

I love the cupcake idea since EVERYONE loves cupcakes and certain people only like certain brands of wine. Plus kids and adults would get the same favor - no figuring out what to give the little ones.

I don't think it's cheap at all. People appreciate edible. I've seen some beautiful non edible favors, but I think most of my friends would just leave them on the table. But everyone loves a cupcake!!!

thanks guys!

i cant wait to speak to my girl about the cupcakes. this chick made my shower cake so incredibly delicious. i cant wait for the cupcakes! i just sent her an email discussing what i would like!

woohoo.
best part is when she makes the trial cupcakes for me to taste. yummy

i think its a great idea. FH's aunt did them fr his cousins baby shower. They were a big hit.

I love the cupcake favor and donation!

The wine is great as well.. but with the other favor your incorporating a sweet treat that everyone will enjoy (whenever I've received edible favors at a wedding I'd usually eat them immediately following the reception because all those cocktails and dancing would make me hungry!!) PLUS a donation to a wonderful cause. GREAT IDEA
