Favor Ideas and Help!!!

Originally FH and I were going to do individually hand painted champange glasses done by an artist friend of his parents in the Pocanos.. the cost would have been about $4-$5 per favor.

That recently fell through- so we need a plan B.. FH doesn't want to do donations (he thinks it's cheesy and his folks don't like it either) but I'm looking for more ideas to show him... any help would be appreciated!

Also if it helps my colors are lavender, pink, and cream.

What about wine bottles?

I was thinking about it (to do one wine bottle per couple if we were doing the larger bottles... maybe with the personalized labels.

Where can I order stuff like that though? I don't want it to be too much of a project that it would take us hours to put together and such.

FH is not big on candy favors either... so that rules out any kind of edible favor..

I know he's being so dang picky atm, I'm more for being practical and original..lol

Look at trader joes - they have charles swan wine for $2. As long as it tastes good thats what we are going to go with. One problem- they now only sell wine in their Union Square store.

I'm in Babylon but Valley Stream is closer than Union Square! What is the name of the store and the wine?

I've read in the past that you can get bottles of Winter White by Pindar for 3 dollars from a store called 'bottles and cases.'
You can have diana from Pippy's sweets make labels Very good price and they came out great.

I live in Far Rockaway and FH knows LI really well (he's from Malverne) so yes Valley Stream is not far for us to travel.

Don't know if Deer Park is too far..but FH's dad & stepmom got wine bottles here as there wedding favors and FH says the prices are pretty good.
