i most likely will be the odd man out here but i'm super picky with my wine set. i bought the Houdini and everything else went out in the trash. Whoever comes over and uses it, goes out and buys it too.
and as for the salt and pepper mills, i registered for 2 diesel ones and got them so i'm partial.
i think we ALL know that the favors are going to be hard because you are not going to please everyone so i have to vote to keep looking.
eta: as i'm rereading this it sounds kind of snotty but so is not meant to be

I think the wine set could be cute if you took it out of the cardboard box and just wrapped ribbon or something like that around the nicer looking box the wine accessories come in.

I think it depends on how you would package them up, I am not a fan of the packaging on either. That being said, I think I would prefer the salt/pepper out of the two because I would get more use out of it since I already have a ton of wine accessories. Maybe keep looking?

Well of course I would wrap them, either one. I would wrap them in a nice paper with a nice ribbon around it. So ignore the packaging, lol.

I did, but FH nixed my oil & vinegar set idea. He doesn't think anyone will use them and says I'm the only person he knows that has one He doesn't realize that my ENTIRE ITALIAN family would use them

I voted keep looking. I dont know, boot look kinda eh to me. I know u can do better, as much as u had lots of headache with picking something out.
just seems like a safe choice, and as Alyssa said, ppl are particular about these kinda stuff and may not like it.

Ive seen wine stoppers with a heart on the end and I think those are cute and easier to package. Even a picky person could appreciate a cute wine stopper!
i voted neither because everyone does wine stops so people have so many from previous weddings, me being one of them, and i dont even drink wine so they have never been used and like alyssa said, people can be picky
as for the salt and pepper shakers,its hard because everyone usually already has them and if they dont match their decor they will just toss them
