If you are giving a favor out per couple and it is on the larger side ( we might give out hand painted wine glasses) how do you give them out to your guests? They are too big to leave at the table. How do you make sure each couple gets one and others don't take too many???????

Re: FAVOR QUESTION
Can you designate someone to hand them out as people leave? Like someone would do with the ceremony programs?
Funny..I am contemplating the same thing right now. Myfavors are heart shaped boxes about 9 x 9x 3 and they are wrapped in organza bags. .Do I put them on the table standing up or have a separate table set up just for favors...but what if each person tries to take them instead of 1 per couple?

the only problem with that is people leave at different times. I don't think it's fair of me to ask someone to keep track of who is leaving and who has gotten one and who hasn't. Such a dilemma!!

Re: FAVOR QUESTION
Our RH offered to do the favors two ways:
1- Have them on a table so the guests can take them on the way out.
2- (This is what I did) They brought them out on silver platters after the main course was cleared off the tables (I designated how many per table- we gave one wine bottle per couple) and put them out on the table for the guests to then take.

Re: FAVOR QUESTION
Leave them on the tables, or put them on the seats and make sure you label them that they are for 'Amy Jones' or 'Amy Jones and Tom Jones'.
That is how I suppose it would work.

Re: FAVOR QUESTION
Maybe you can keep them on a 'favor table' but write a short note and leave it on the table explaining that they are one per couple.

My only problem with this is that on a table even with a note people will just ignore it 9 times out of 10 imo.
I would ask your RH as to what your options are for favors.

Re: FAVOR QUESTION
I actually printed placecard tags with names and table numbers and taped them to the favors. so the guests picked them up at the entrance table.

This is what we are doing... I originally wanted to do one per person and leave them at each seat, but when i switched to one per couple i wasnt sure how to give them out. we ended up making ours double as placecards, so it actually kills 2 birds with one stone and takes care of that whole distribution issue.
our favors are 3x3x3 and will be wrapped similarly to these
Ask the Rh to have someone at the door to give it to people when they leave.
