favor question....

so ive been contemplating many favors and i still am not sure my favorite right now is the espresso set ... it has 2 cups 2 saucers and an espresso pot.... Obviously this would be a per-couple gift... but what about those who are younger (15-21) and are living with their parents what should i give them?? should i also give them the espresso sets? or maybe candy or something else... any suggestions? how are others working this out

I think the teens-21 group would still appreciate the espresso sets. Maybe not the early teens but I'm sure they'd rather that than be lumped into the kiddie group. What about a little picture frame or something for the teen guests? I think candy should only be for a young kid.

What about a hot chocolate set for the younger kids? You could include instant hot chocolate and a mug or two. Serendipity makes a great instant hot chocolate.

It would go along the same theme as your espresso set, and it isn't giving them candy.

yeah ur actually right... i went to a wedding a few years ago w/ fh's family and i remember us being lumped with all his cousins who are a lot younger( we got candy lol) it annoyed me a little that i was looked at as a kid haha

Yea it just made me think of my sister who is 17 and a BM and she'd be pissed if she got lumped in with the kiddies! LOL!

ETA: And I LOVE pp's suggestion of a hot cocoa set! That's a great idea!

yeah i just looked on serendipity and they have the FROZEN hot chocolate packets.... that would be good since im getting married in july... ill just have to go to the dollar store or something to get cups to go with those packets!!!

i think this is a great idea. it follows the theme and everyone is happy. or maybe even an ice cream bowl set, those are always cute.

well we are doing single serve Ice Cream bowls so I feel that will cater to pretty much everyone no matter what age... Plus as far as under 16 goes, I really don't have many... off hand I think my 3 cousins, our RB and our FG.

I do like the idea of making hot Cocoa for the really young kids. Anyone over 16 I would stick with the espresso.
