I have been searching for the best price on mini Korbel champagne as my wedding favors. I found a store that sells them for 3.99 a bottle which is the best price I've seen. The price is not guaranteed to stay that way for long so my FH and I decided we would buy them now. I am purchasing 150 bottles, but I am worried that by the time the wedding rolls around next summer they wont be any good...lol Can any one tell me how long champagne lasts unopened????? I really don't want to miss out on this price if I don't have to.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Re: favor question
well all wines really should be stored in a dark cool place so if you cant guarantee it will stay coolish..like if your place gets hot, don't order it yet.

Re: favor question
as long as it is stored in a cool dry place you should be fine.

Re: favor question
you could check with your local liquor store too- they should be able to tell you if they'll last that long, and the best way to store them

Re: favor question
Champagne is not meant to be stored. It's already aged in the bottle (if it's the good stuff) and is ready to be drank when it's sold. Not sure if a year would make a difference though. Maybe speak to someone at that store, or call Korbel directly and ask.
