When we have a few days off together we usually end up going to museums and shows in the city. I am definately a city girl at heart!
It's funny because FH who is born and raised in queens decided it would be a good idea for us to go camping! He got the idea from the Go RVing commercials and now my neighbor has an RV!
He's making fun of me saying my idea of roughing it is room service! But I told him if he planned the trip I would go. I don't think he will so I'm in the clear!

Connecticut! That's why I'm getting married there - it'll be the perfect vacation.
Some towns along the shore are really nice and cute (Old Saybrook, for example) and as you go farther north and it's all New England-y, that's great too.

My favorite would be our house in vermont. I love it there. It's so relaxing and there is so much to do. And we have had the house since I was about 4 so I basically grew up there also.

Lake George

Lake George is in upstate Ny about 4 hrs away.
I fell in love with it because there is a lot to do. There are amusement parks, camping, boating, swimming on the lake, outlet shopping, mini golf...I could go on and on!
