Favorite Limo Companies?? Please give your opinion.

Favorite Limo Companies?? Please give your opinion.

How important do you think it is to visit prospective limo companies? I live in Manhattan, and most of the limo companies are far away (out in LI, Queens, etc.). I have done some research on these boards, and I think I may go by word of mouth on this vendor. Is this dumb? I mean, a limo is a limo, right? As long as I got with a reputable company?

So, far these are the companies I am considering:

1. Allstar

2. Royalty

3. Double Diamond

4. Country Club Limos

Thoughts on the companies above? TIA!!

Be careful with what limo company you pick. You don't have to go there in person but I would do research on them before booking. Try calling Sir Oliver. Alot of us are using them and I haven't heard one bad thing about them. Very good vendor.

my FH has met people who work with All Star and so far I haven't heard anything bad about them. Their cars are new and clean, but they are not cheap. I think we'll probably book them too.

We met with Royalty and didn't have a pleasant meeting.

We booked Double Diamond. My review of them is up on the review board. This was the third time we used them and they were beond amazing.

Booking limos is important because they can totally throw you off schedule. Do your research, ask lots of questions and good luck!

I am having a hard time finding a company that nobody has had problems with (or at least a small percentage of bad reviews) :(

Wow - we just used Sir Oliver for a bachelorette party and they were so great too. I didnt do much research before booking them but i just saw another post on them here.... I got very lucky with that one!

We are using them too. They were nice, good prices and again, have never heard a negative review about them.

We used All-Star because they had silver limos and they were awesome. We got to the reception EARLY! Actually, we got everywhere early and the cars were so clean and pretty!

We used Alexis Limos that are in Chateau Briand. They went above and beyond. The drivers were awesome!

Question, where is Allstar located? they don't have the address on the site, and when I look them up, so many come up. Is it the one in Queens?

They are in Farmingdale.

I didn't go see my limo company. I live in Westchester & had to go to LI enough as it was.

I narrowed it down to 3 that recieved mutliple positive reviews here. Sir Olivier was far out in Suffolk, so I didn't call them, in case I did have to go there & another place didn't call me back, so then I called All Star & told them what I wanted & it was easy.

They were prompt, the limo was clean, no mechnical prolems, safe driver, knew where he was going & was amazingly sweet & helpful.
