Ok so I really don't want to make appointments with more than 3 photographers. If you could only see 3 photographers, who would you choose? so basicallythe question is, which are your favorite 3 photographers? (price does not matter)

Re: favorite photographers?
We saw only 3 photographers. The Velvet Studio Daniel Krieger Imagine Studios.
We booked with Velvet. After the 3 we felt that there was no need to coninue looking. I am SO happy with our selection.

Re: favorite photographers?
We planned on seeing around three photographers, but only met with one. After meeting with Bob from Velvet, our decision was made. They do a great job and were willing to work with us for our budget. Also, there are a lot of great reviews about them on liweddings.

Angela is very different from the other two...but I love her style.
Patken and Velvet are very similar, Velvets prices are much better though.

Re: favorite photographers?
We saw 8 photographers.
Right Angle was very good. (If they were less then they probably would have been our definite choice)
Velvet was okay. Patken and Duet were rude to us. Dan Saviano - Golden Moments was wierd Glenmar was rude and demeaning to us. Duval was blah.
After we book the contract I could tell you who our choice was.

Re: favorite photographers?
Its all based on your personal taste....
I happen to lovvvvve Angelica Glass' style....but some people prefer more traditional approaches. So figure out what kind of 'look' you want first!
I'd say for bold colors, and artistic looks: Angelica Glass Something in Blue
For more photojournalistic and traditional approaches: Blue Daisy Weddings Duet Imagine Studios Velvet
(Also keep in mind that Angelica Glass and Something in Blue would prefer to not have a list of 'must takes' - so if that is important to you, I wouldn't check them out!)

I COULD NOT remember the name of the photographer my friend recommended to me and you listed it. Something In Blue...I knew I'd remember once I saw the name. Thanks Bonnie

Re: favorite photographers?
I was just like you, and FH refused to go to a dozen photographers,
I narrowed it down to 3 Verdi, i love their work and always thought id spare no expense when it came to photography, but when i realized what i wanted would cost me about 10,000 and thats not including video, i really reconsidered. I love their work, i think they are amazing at what they do, but they charge alot
Next I went to Imagine Studios, Loved Lia, she was amazing her work and prices were more what i was looking for, but something that turned me off was that i HAD to use her husband for video, wich was 2300 and it was not good! total turn off.
Something in Blue, great artists, but just not for me, and also alot of $$$ but i dont think i would of worked well with them anyways they were not friendly at all.
So after these 3, i couldnt bare to spend 10k on pics, and i didnt want to waste 2300 on a sucky video i decided to try one more guy
Martin Willard, is who i went with, clicked right away, loved his work, his packages, and loved that he didnt have 'teams' so i knew what i was looking at was what i would be getting, very important to me. so the price was right he worked with us, and we booked him!
