Favorite Restaurant(s)?

Since we're always putting our .02 on wedding vendors/services, why not food services!?!

Name your favs!

Here's mine:
The Clubhouse (Jericho Tpke, Huntington)
-I love their steaks (Cowboy steak in particular)!

Lola (New York Ave., Huntington)
-Excellent service & food at a very reasonable price.

Margarita Grille (Wall St., Huntington)
-For their frozen margaritas & vodka martinis. Need I say more? Actually, they have a decent menu, good size portions, and they're inexpensive.

Marcela - where's Montebello's? I grew up in PW but haven't heard of that one.

My faves are:

Bryant and Cooper - YUM!
BK Sweeney's in Garden City

And if money was no option, The Mill River Inn in Oyster Bay. Wow. What an unbelieveable place. It's not much to look at from the outside, but their food is incredible. It was rating best on LI for food in 2000 or 2001.

It's directly across the street from the Long Island Railroad. I'm pretty sure there is a Starbucks on the corner (on Main Street). It's really good, but they serve family style (meaning each plate is for 2 people). They can can make each plate for one person, but it's not worth it that way because the 1 person plate is a few dollars less than the family style plate. So if you go there with a bunch of people who want to eat different things, it's not worth it cause it'll get pretty pricey.

Marcela...hmmm I am still thinking where that restaurant is. My DH works right on main street in PW across for the LIRR and we hang out in PW most of the time. I will have to double-check when I go there tomorrow.

Kathy: If you're looking across the street from the Long Island Railroad, there's a fire station to the left of it and an indoor parking lot to the right of it. and then I'm pretty sure there's a Starbucks on the corner. It's off of Main Street, not on Main Street.

Re: Favorite Restaurant(s)?

drjenn - I totally agree w/Kotobuki as the best sushi on Long Island! I used to go there for lunch all the time when I worked in Hauppauge.

I have to say Pietro's in East Meadow has the BEST pizza around...

As far as restaurants...hmmm...this is difficult, as I haven't been back here long enough to go out to dinner much (with the baby and all).

DH and I really enjoyed CozyMel's in Westbury for mexican...we had a nostalgic moment for California
