Favorite Wedding Blogging and Website Options?

Now that my fiance and I have FINALLY chosen a wedding date and location (WOOHOO!!!!!) , we would love to start our own personal wedding blog and wedding website to keep long-distance friends and family up to date with our wedding plans. For the blogging site we would like to contribute as separate users to the same blog. For the website I want a lot of template and customization options, but don't want to have to pay a fee. I've checked out theknot options and some other wedding sites but would like to start the blog and website on more generic non-wedding-specific services so I can keep them going for other topics, too, after the wedding.

What are your favorite blogging and create-your-own website sites? I've tried blogger, xanga and livejournal already for blogging but the latter two don't allow 2 collaborators to the blog from what I can tell. For websites I've checked out googlepages already and love it but am open to other suggestions.

I am using superweds.com! It has all the features of the websites you pay for, PLUS you can add what ever pages you want! I'm not sure about the blogging but if I am thinking correctly of what you mean you can probably just add your own 'blog' page to it! It doesn't matter when you sign up, it remains up until 3 months after your wedding (then you can pay to keep it up longer) and its COMPLETELY free... I can't believe I found it and it has so much more than the other sites that you pay $100 for.... ridiculous.

If your more lowkey, I'd recommend blogspot. Its doesn't have wedding bells and whistles but its ad free and easy to use.
