Favor/Place Card idea.... Think this will look okay?

In addition to donations, I also purchased small bottles of wine for each of my guests. I was thinking of putting the bottles of wine in an organza bag and attaching a small card with the persons name and table # on the outside, and on the inside putting the info. about the donations. Has this been done before? Do you have any pics? Do you think the place card table will look too crowded and it will be hard for people to find their names?

I think this is acute idea. My parents actually did this when they were married in Italy, except it was customary then to have the label printed with the Bride and Groom's names and date.

I think it will look adorable and it's a favor that can be 'used'.

I think it's a great idea! We are actually combining our favor and place card as well. Since we don't want there to be any confusion as to whether a couple gets one or two favors because they were a little pricey (they get one) we are going to put people's names on them as their placecard.

Each guest is getting a favor, so the table may be a little crowded for 150 people. Plus, don't you usually put Mr. and Mrs. John Smith on 1 place card....they would have to be put seperate on the wine bottle card. I have to think more about this!

i think that's a nice idea. i'm also doing a donation favor another little favors that i want t set up wwith the placecards attached. why not make it 1 wine bottle per couple instead of per guest? you are doing the donation too (so am i).

I agree with this idea. You should definetely do it , though...i think it is a cute idea!
