If you were thinking about doing candles...what about giving out full-sized versions of the Yankee Candle 'Wedding Day'? It's definitely something that people will use.

Well, at first I was thinking about candles and then I wanted wine bottles but my family are not big on wine. FH don't really care about the favor thing he thinks it is a waste of money. I am so confused

i am right there with you - i dont like this whole favor thing. Only because i DONT want to get soemthing that willl go in the china closet. This will be my favor. chocolate.

I also think the candle Jenniesunshine posted is a great way to go with candles. Different from what I've seen out there
Since my FH and I love to gamble I am getting each person a lottery ticket(2 per couple). I plan on making cute cards to attach them to that say- 'we are taking a gamble today, we thought you should too!' with our names and date on the card.
I am probably getting the small yankee wedding candles and buying little glasses or something for them and putting them in a bag or box. The little ones are only $1.60 each. I got one at a wedding and it smells so yummy.

we're doing a donation to the cancer society in my grandmothers name,,, and i made up bookmarks as the 'tangible' favor for the guests![]()
Why not donate to a charity? Some charities even give you a little card that says in lieu of favors the couple has decided to donate to such and such charity. Its a lot easier and the money is going to a worthwhile cause. Face it most people won't appreciate all the time & money you put into making favors anyway

I love all of the favor ideas too!! I have been stressing about them. I like the idea of giving the money to a charity as well because you know it is going to a worthwhile cause. I am donating money to the Breast cancer foundation as both my grandmothers had breast cancer......
I am making CD's with a picture label, I will put them a paper jackets and tie it with a tulle ribbon
