How much should I spend on favors?

I think that it depends on your budget and whats most inportant to you- we spent 5.50 a piece when its all send and done - that includes the name and date ribbons and the wrapping paper - but were only having 120 people so it works out to be about 60 favors -

definately depends on your budget!! I dont think it is an etiquitte thing... Im going to spend as little as possible because we are paying for everything ourselves and just cant afford an elabrate favor...every dollar adds up!
