Favors?
We are more than likely going to give picture frames as our favors, one per couple or single. I would like to have something else on the tables for each place setting or table. My friend suggested 2 or 3 small chocolates per person, but that still adds up. Does anyone have any inexpensive suggestions?

Wedding Bells....
For $7.95 you can get a box of 24. If you shop around on the internet, maybe you could find some a little cheaper, or maybe some local shops would have them cheaper. We`re doing a donation, but are putting one at each place setting with a message regarding the donation made. http://store.yahoo.com/ultimatewedding/silgolbel.html

Favors?
I think that I am pretty well set on these now. I am either making these with a saying attached or a bag filled with chocolates. http://www.wedcraft.com/kissfavor.html Anyone else make these?

Bells
If you watch for a sale (or coupon) at Michael's you can get them even cheaper than that (I don't remember exactly how much). They have a little saying attached to them about instructing people to ring them as you leave the ceremony, which of course could be removed if they're not for this purpose. We were thinking of doing that in lieu of birdseed or rice, which the church will not allow.

what about Bookmarks??? I've seen them for like $34 for 50 and than like $13.50 per 25 after that. That's less than $1.00 a piece and they can be personalized!!!

Favors? - Votives
Are you planning on using candles? A friend of mine had votives around her centerpieces that doubled as favors in addition to the frames.

Donations as Favors
How do you go about making a donation as a favor? What is the best way to let your guests know? I like the bell idea - could you explain that more. Thanks.

Favors?
We are giving out little trees(colorado Spruce) as our favors. Thought it would be a cute idea, because he is a Landscaper. They are less than $2 a favor.

Favors?
Thank you all for the ideas! Most people have told us the frames are a waste of a favor, and that noone really gets any use out of it. Still, the more I think about it, I really want to give a small something that will get some use. Preferably something edible? The bells are a great idea but who`s gonna use them after? I think the candy bars might be too much. And my sister had votives (which were a hit) so I am still searching.

If you think the regular sized chocolate bars are too much, they also have the personalized miniatures. I thought that the Hershey kiss rose idea was really cute, but you have really be into making them.

Favors?
At my friend's engagement party, she got boxes with their names on it and put two Rochette (sp.) in it with a little tissue paper. Very cute and, if I remember correctly, fairly inexpensive.

Donations as Favors
I made a donation to Make-A-Wish foundation and I ordered wedding bells to give my guests as a little keepsake (and they can ring it at the reception instead of tapping glasses with their forks!). Pick a charity that is close to your heart and almost all of them have a scroll to let your guests know that this was done instead of favors.Welcome New Vendors
