i think i will start off with picking favors while stlll looking at halls ...
one idea i had was since me and my FH are both in the pharmacy field i was thinking of doing prescription bottles filled with candy(m&ms)...maybe the small clear glass bottles
how does that sound

cute idea! however, be careful to the message it sends to kids. like drugs are candy lol. shouldn't be an issue if you aren't having kids at the wedding. but i love the personal touch. ~lacey

Yes, Please be careful if you have kids at the event, you dont want them looking for more candy at home in a similar looking prescription bottle.

Something alot of music loving couples are doing now, is making a CD with all their favorite love songs-including the song they will be dancing to at the wedding, and personalizing the CD label with a picture, and handing that out as favors. all your guests can enjoy that on the way home :)

We are doing full size bottles of Pindar wine, they are wrapping it in our colors and putting on personalized labels on the wrapping. Who wouldn't like that and it's cool because it local wine. We got a few types.

That's a great idea.. I am a nurse soo I love that :). I was actually thinking of not doing a favor but a donation in lue of a favor in honor of my lil cousin who has juvenile arthritis. what does everyone think good or bad thanks kate

I think its a very cute idea. your favor should be something that portrays you and your FH. Ours are 'key to my heart' bottle openers. and that is simply because we both like to drink and he is a bartender.
