FAVORS

WEll girls I finally decided what I wanted as my favors! I was not willing to buy something and have people throw it out wasting my money, soooooooo FH and i choose to buy donate money to breast cancer, so we got the pink braclets. they will be here in 2 days!! Then all i have to do in label them with a little saying! i am so excited to know my money went to someting good!

that's a wonderful, touching idea. My mom passed away 5 years ago from Breast Cancer and hopefully it'll help find the cure so people won't have to go thru what my mom went thru for years!

Congrats on an amazing favor.

i was talking to a few of my bm about it and they said that was not a good idea, that people are going to be upset about not getting a real favor!! what do u girls tihnk?

Absolutely not!! As a wedding guest, I barely remember to take it home, and when I do, it ends up in the trash. A donation is money well spent!!

I do understand this side also. But, it's what works for you, and makes you feel good. For example, even though my mom passed away from Breast Cancer, my family is traditional and Italian and I would be talked about for some time if I didn't give out a favor. So, that's why I chose to do a few things in honor of my mom instead. (We're doing breast cancer awareness basket with bracelets, pins and car magnets) in addition to the favor(s).

I think MANY people would appreciate this gesture, and won't miss the favor at all. I know I wouldn't. I always forget to take my favor!
