Ok, chocolate or donation? Which one should we do. The chocolate is yummy and widely enjoyed, but the donation will probably be more meaningful.

I would say it depends on your guest. I know that coming from a very European family, my guests wouldnt be to happy going home without anything. Although I do think the donation idea is great you must take into consideration how your guests will react. Also, if you're doing chocolates you can always attack a tag and use them as your place cards and kill two birds with one stone.

Donation -- it's $$ well spent and a nice sentiment for your guests to take with them. JMO, but with chocolate - which is VERY yummy, no doubt - guests may forget it or some (the crazy ones!) will just toss it b/c they don't like it.
