We went to a wedding where they had a cart outside of the venue that had White Castle burgers as the guests were leaving, it was really cute and really original.

I love that.... I think it's so creative!

But I do like the bagels and newspaper idea. Hey maybe they should've paired the newspaper with the White Castle

I am not sure yet. I kind of don't want to do the typical favors, all the favors i have gotten i never used. That is why I do like the idea of edible favors. I have also heard about giving guests something on there way out with the paper but i heard of that with krispy kreme donuts. I am also thinking of doing a candy buffet.

I do like the coasters you posted karen.

Hmmm maybe a bottle of something and gotta think of what else I can give along with that.

A few years ago I took a guy friend to White Castle that has never been there before. So we get there and I tell him they're really tiny, so he orders like 10. My ex is driving back to our houses (my guy friend lived up the block), and Carl (my friend) is scarfing them down in the back, thinking they're mad good and all. And I'm like, dude, slow down. Anyways, he doesn't take my advice. So we're all on the stoop, about an hour later, just hanging out, and all of a sudden Carl bolts to his house. So I'm like yup, murder burgers. I swear you could hear him going 'oohhhh lord. good god!!!' Funniest shiz ever!!!!

Don't know about wedding or shower favors yet, but we ordered candle favors for my e-party. They're in calla lily holders (one of my favorite flowers, will def be a part of the wedding). They were a few dollars each.

well i was thinking of doing mini espresso makers - FH and I love coffee AND this was the only 'coffee maker' in my house until i was in high school, seriously - i thought when people said 'coffee maker' this is what they meant bc its the only coffee my parents make! I would love to get the Delonghi ones because those are the best and thats what we bring back from italy for everyone . . . i would love to include a packet of really good espresso with it if it doesnt end up costing too much!

If it does, I've seen people give out a coffee scooper and a little personalized packet of coffee, I thought that was cute.

i think we're going to do a donation in everyone's name b/c fh's dad passed away so i think it would be a nice way to remember him...

along with like a homemade gift...our favorite cookies OR a cd with us singing a song together (my good friend has a studio etc) and then we'd add some other songs.
