What's everyone doing for favors? I have a friend getting married in April and she was asking me about different ideas and I figured I'd see what else is out there. Thanks!

Re: Favors
I have no idea what i will do, but i dont want the typical favors, most people either leave them there or never use it. Guess thats why edible favors are becoming so big and bottles of wine or champagne

Yes. That's is why we did chocolates. I did not want to spend money on a favor that people would just toss.
However, I have seen some really cool favors that I wouldn't mind getting. Ice cream scoops, cookie cutters, coasters, measuring spoons just toname a few.

Re: Favors
A Donation to Adelphi's breast cancer society. Mom and FMIL are survivors so we wanted to do something to honor them. We will have the donation cards say something like, 'in celebration of the strength, courage, and lives of the two bravest women we know.'

Re: Favors
Personally, I think I'm leaning towards a donation. But I saw something that caught my eye the other day. It's a CD that doubles as a placecard and a favor. The CD lable has the guest's name and table number and on the CD itself it has all sort of info on the wedding like your vows, about the bride and groom and MOH and BM, etc. And the CDs can be different sizes and shapes. FM if you want the link to check them out. I just thought they were different.

Re: Favors
I want to do a Wine theme also. I think that it is something that everyone will use or atleast have when company comes over.
