Favors......

Favors......

I need some ideas for favors.

I wanted to make my own olive oil dip for bread, and bottle them in bottles with corks and make my own label.

My mom isn't too crazy about the idea.

HELP!

That idea sounds fantastic!

You know - I feel like favors are really a pretty personal choice. I mean - I LOVE my favors (I am doing heart measuring spoons, a heart cookie cutter and a scroll with the recipe for our favorite sugar cookies. But I am aware that several girls might think it is sappy or not to their taste. I am sure I will have guests that don't think much of my favors. But they make me happy! And I hope they appeal to at least the majority of my friends and family!

I say if you love it you should go for the olive oil and tell your mom (with love) that you appreciate her input, but you have decided that this is what you want!

I like that idea too.

We're doing coffee packets w/ our monogrammed label, a latte mug & swizzle sticks. We're wrapping them in clear cellophane.

Re: Favors......

I did mini crystal ice buckets..they were a huge hit!
What about something useful - like a [stainless steel] ice cream scooper?
Or..........maybe like cookie cutters or a mini bottle of wine?
Or what about a cheese grader? I got one at a shower last yr and loved it!
