favors

Hi! My fiance and I were thinking of using some kind of baked goods for our favor, or special choclates. Something good, on a nice small platter or something. The thing is, I stink at this wedding planning, and I need ideas. Has anyone heard of something like this? Can anyone point me in the same direction? help....please

i wouldnt do baked goods because they'll go stale. Chocolates in boxes with your names and wedding date are really good if that what you want. My uncle owns a chocolate store so thats what I'm doing.

Good point! How do I even find someone who makes chocolate? This is crazy, my head hurts.

Re: favors

godiva actually does wedding favors, which are small boxes of chocolates in the shape of wedding cakes, and they also do their normal shapes, but they are pricey... you could also do your own chocolate molds and wrap them or box them yourself, it's very easy!

woodhouse chocolates has cute blue and brown box of chocolates as a favor. not sure about other companies, i only know of this one bc i was considering it for our favors bc it is in our colors, but didnt go with it bc temp in august and possibility of melting. look online for chocolate favors. youll find a bunch.

or you could do cute sugar cookies. these are so cool. check out casuesweet.com under iced art and lessons on love. they have 'runway replicas' of dresses as cookies, cake cookies, hearts, etc.
