I'm still very far off yet BUT just thinking about favors. Personally and this might be terrible to say but I hate them. When I receive them, and that's if they even make it home, they collect dust until they eventually end up in the garbage. Am I alone in this? Never the less, any ideas on a useful favor?

I think we're doing bottles of wine. I do agree that a lot of favors are totally useless.

Yeahh I defiantly hear you on this, but I think anything edible or drinkable may be good.. well I hope anyway cause my favors are tiffany boxes with bows and we're gonna fill them with m&ms since both are names start with an M. But I hope people like m&ms lol

we are doing a donation instead b/c personally i agree, its a waste of money - people toss them eventually and its usually sooner than later
we have both had close family members with breast and prostate cancer so we are going to make donations to those foundations ...
i have been told that when you make a donation, they will supply you with however many pink/blue bracelets you want, so we will put those on the table instead of the favors with a card explaining how cancer has touched our lives and why we decided to donate instead

Thank you! yeahh I saw online that they personalize the m&ms and they do have an aqua color to match the tiffany blue color, but I'm not sure how expensive they are, soo hopefully I'll be able to do that!

I think the personalized will be more expensive than just the plain colored blue and white ones.... FH and I looked up the personalized ones once, and I remember them being ridiculous. You may be able to order the blue and white from a candy store that sells them individually!

My friend whose getting married in august wanted to have krispy creme donuts for favors. She said it meant something between her and her FH but they decided against it because most people wouldn't get it.

I have mentioned in another post that we will probally be doing crystal ice buckets with 2 glasses and a bottle of champagne with a little note that says open this bottle this date next year and celebrate our 1 year blah blah blah or something
